If you had to describe yourself as a color, which would you choose?

I would portray myself as the color blue. Blue is known as a cool color; cool colors have a calming, and consoling effect. Blue also mean strong. I am not physically strong however, my strength comes from my will and motives that drives me to overcome the meticulous of situations. Blue means important. I know I am indispensable to the world in some way or another. I just cannot figure out a way why I am important to this earth. Blue means peaceful also. I do not rage war against another person because a fighter is not in my heart however; I will defend myself if that’s my best opportunity at the moment. Jacci Howard Bear states that “Blue conveys importance and confidence without being somber or sinister, hence the blue power suit of the corporate world and the blue uniforms of police officers. Long considered a corporate color, blue, especially darker blue is associated with intelligence, stability, unity, and conservatism”.

What would you do if you saw a friend cheating--report it, confront the friend, nothing--and why?

I seen many of people cheated on test, homework, class work, the list goes on and on. Cheating is hazardous and it will not teach you how to accomplish everyday life. If I see my friends cheat, I will tell them (and I have multiple times) that cheating will not take you as far as learning the material. I scarcely cheat because there will be a time that cheating will not work. For instance, teachers are now fabricating a variety of test, like test A or test B. and if you are cheating from someone who has a different version of the test then cheating will only hinder you from passing. I do not let anyone cheat from me anymore, when I tutor someone I make them think on their own instead of me providing the answers for them. It will be only a matter of time once the easy game of cheating back track and place them in a situation that requires them to think on their own.

What would you do if you did very poorly of a test?

I always made excellent scores on my tests. There were times I perform very poorly on a test. It was mainly because of the structure the test. I would study more often for the next test and be more prepared. I would also ask for assistance to clarify why I performed poorly on the test. Most people are use to failing tests, im the type of individual that will try my hardest to not fail an exam. I would forget that I exemplified poor performance on something that I could have achieved. There’s nothing much to do when one fail a test except to focus more on the next test and make sure they do not make the same mistake as before. I make sure I do not fail the major tests like the finals or mid-term exams. Poor performance on a test is not necessarily bad; it could cause some good outcomes.

what's the worst a parent can do to a child?

Not everyone possesses the correct parenting skills. People are becoming parents earlier and earlier. Parents go to great duration in order to liberate of their children or raise them the wrong way. I think the worst a parent can do is inserting a child for adopting and emotionally abuse their children. Some people cannot endure the pressure of having a child, so they give their child away and expect that child to comprehend why he/she was place for adoption. Other parents abuse their children thinking that they are disciplining their children. Having a child takes great patients, time, and discipline. I had a friend who once told me (in his own words) “The worst thing my mother did was make me feel worthless and less important than my siblings, took no interest in my life, still doesn't and only bi*chess about my choices and makes me to this day feel I disappoint her every waking moment of her day! Thank god for my father.” My parents never abuse me or never told me I could not achieve in life. If only people take more time becoming better parents rather than throwing their child in the abyss and expect them to succeed.

What would happen if you loved your neighbor as yourself? What if everyone did?

Love is a compelling word. Loving yourself is quite easy to perform. Loving others proves to be an ambitious burden. I try my best to love everyone like myself; it’s very arduous because I do not treat others as I treat myself. We as humans tend to not love other people who do not fit into our criteria of living. Life would not have that much tension if everyone loves their neighbor as well as themselves. The world would be in better shape. 95% of the time, a person will not kill themselves nor will they treat themselves with no respect. The world would not feel right if everyone love each other like themselves. I say that because as human, sometimes people do not like themselves based on what happen that day. We will not be able to handle all that love in the state we are in. there’s only one place for that, and it’s heaven.

What would happen if people never co-operated? Why do you think it is important to co-operate?

Almost everyone heard this quote; “united we stand divided we fall.” One person cannot succeed without cooperating with others. It’s important to cooperate with others; envision if the army never cooperated with the marines or the navy or the air force. How would they provide information to the other branches on the enemy? This world would be in more shambles than before. Numerous effects will never have gotten completed. We would have no rail road systems, no store to buy products because of dissection. Take a look at America when blacks and whites did not oblige with each other. They segregated themselves, treated each other with the vilest disrespect, and many more malicious actions. Cooperating with each other is indispensable because gives us a level of our own value. More is better, and then you are appreciated, in some way. In my opinion, it is a reminiscent necessity from the beginnings of humans, when others had to obey the most powerful. Cooperation it`s a battle between individuals. It can be a lost battle, a won battle or indecisive one. Two individuals cooperating are either two who don`t know each other’s capabilities and try to figure it out or two who find themselves on different positions: one of power and one of acknowledgement of that power.

Life with out television

Technology makes things a lot easier than ever before. Life without television can be bad and good at the same time. One negative effect for no television is not being able to maintain with the weather or the local and worldwide news. Television is very time consuming and that can lead to procrastination. Ever since the improvement of internet, TV seems secondary. I can watch anything I want online and I do not have to wait for a certain time for a TV show. Also it’s much easier to place a firewall and interdict certain websites on a computer than to block a channel on TV. Then again, the manipulating effect of television inspired other secondary entertainment. For instance, the movie theater is an immense size TV. I scarcely watch TV because im too active doing homework or im on the internet surfing the web. I asked many people this question and most agree that life without television can be advantageous. They can obligate themselves to a schedule that’s full and have more time to themselves.

if i were lost in the woods

If I were ever lost in the opaque dark woods, panicking would be the worst option. I’m not going to lie; I would be petrified out of this world. I would lucid my head and wonder how I ended up lost in the woods. Backtracking seems useful because my visual skills are excellent. I know some survival techniques from studying the TV series “Man VS Wild.” I would search for rivers and roads because they have the potential to provide life and/or assistance. I would also watch my step because the woods can hold many things that can impede my path. I would think about starting a fire and find shelter if I had to stay the night. Finding food in the woods would be difficult; I will have my own food to eat and a flash light so I could see where I am going. Once I find aid, I would never get lost in the woods again.
